Hello,

I redesigned a SC blog for the skinny-tire club I’ve been “doing”.  suncic.blogspot.com is the new address, don’t you forget it.

So, last week I’d hoped to figure out the tool needed (find/install/etc) to get my lesson plans up on this here weblog. I’ve been having a blast studying up and exhortively teaching the College aged folks at church lately, and wanted to share with them (and you my dear reader) the “teacher’s notes” for additional study/homework/etc. I’ve been using mostly John MacArthur and his commentary on James as my source material as he’s way-fab in his disecting and delivery. For further discloser, a Stott resource and Swap Meet Dave have also been sourced for additional angles to use in my lesson. If anyone, (yes you) has any clue about getting my word-docs into this bloggity as .pdf’s under an additonal tab, I’d super appreciate any help with this project in the wings.

Last weekend’s SC club-ride was ultra. We conquered Heartbreak Hill, 500ft gain in 1/2 mile, some 22 +/= degrees, as well as 29 other miles of rollers/descents/somewhat flat sections. Phenom. Some of the guys (7 total) were able to get up with out any traversing (yippee! Me included!) while others traversed and learned new prayer-languages. I don’t think anyone walked it though and that’s the coolest thing. Our own personal Hors Categorie climb, and at the grade, glad it isn’t any longer than it is. I heard it’s the steepest section of road in Nuevo Mex, we rode and conquered it!

Currently in Big Spring, TX wishing I had my bike with me. Here’s a hilly route of roadway I could get some miles in on tomorrow morning. The Tour riders right now (on VS. expanded coverage of the TdF) are “ascending into the clouds” on the HC climb of this morning’s stage 16 15 with 24 miles to go.Tomorrow a rest day, then back to the Pyrennes for more struggle-ville! The climbers are so awesome, I wish i could climb as strong! Port De Bale, the HC, phenom 6-8 degrees over 20-some miles. Talk about grinding you down. Props to the sprinters, sure, but nothing tops Lance’s “look” at Ulrich a back in 2001’s TdF before sprinting ahead on L’Alpe d’Huez. Current bike lust is centered on this one. Reviewed well in the current issue (Sept) of Bicycling, and American Made!

Heeello.

Figured out how to get the “now watching” plugin working, and am working on some other plugin integration as I move back to blogging more frequently.  Late, should be sleeping, 2:11am, off to bed again.

Hello hello!  So that was weird.  Didn’t have much control over the blackout this very site suffered over the past weekie or two.  Glad it’s now fixed, and appreciate your patience!  I’m going to figure out how to post from some other methods so I need-ent be online when I think of something to share.  That way I’ll be diligent to update a post at least once a week or 10 days.  I believe I can do it from MS Word if I remember correctly.  Anyhoot, glad to be back, and tons of picts I need to post from recent adventures.  Will get on it next “Asher nap” as that’s a great time to get it done if he’s not in need of attention.
