Here it is:

And I’m thinking a 29″ SS/Rigid would be sweeter than a new all mountain LenzSport To build one up with the aid of my bro Tafoya and then get schooled on the SS/Rigid tip by Stageman would be sickness defined. Save me some cashola this route, (that behemoth linked above retails at $2k frame only), and get smoother with my skills, and stronger with the physical nature of SS. Starting to think more “grown-up” with regards to riding. Now that I’m a papa I’m thinking less risk is better and should find a safer route for adrenaline infusion. I’d rather save the big-dough for the sweet/plush/racehorse for road riding, as centuries are looking way more doable (and would be way more comfy on something other than my ancient Centurion)!

So I had a coffee at my buddy Brian’s house this eve, and can’t sleep. So just prior to writing this, I was thinking big-time about the weekend upcoming (as posted just prior). What camping gear need I bring? Do I want to bring my own tent? Will I need to wear more than my typical road-ride gear? etc, etc, etc. Here are a few pics of the the B.O.M.B. trip from 2005:
, And another…
Some sick stuff ehh? I didn’t take these shots, but rather they are from the pro-foto guy that accompanied the Believer’s On Mountain Bikes to Moab for their annual shin-dig. Eventually I’d like to have Jess and Asher up (alongside any other future groms) to do Moab with the BOMB gang. It’s craze, it’s a kine meet of all the BOMB chapters from all over the world, at some of God’s greatest trails. For more info on BOMB check HERE.
What I’m looking forward to maybe even more than the riding is the fellowship with some brothers I only see 52 times a year (if that!). If I’m really blessed, I’ll get a ride in with a few of the guys during the season, but usually it’s just Sundays at Church. Anyhoot, I oughta go try and sleep again, up early to serve at the rescue miss again, and don’t want to need a nappsie after i get back.
