Tired boy…

Add comment November 12th, 2008

So, do you know where Eunice NM is?  Down there they have a Enrichment facility in build-up that I visited to attempt drumming up some business for a buddy’s industrial supply business.  We’ll see if that flies, could use the commission!  13 hours mostly spent in the car down there and back, with a bounce out to WIPP and a Pot-Ash mining firm along the route.  Drove through Hobbs, Lovington, Tatum (NM), Roswell, Artesia, Vaughn, Encino, and exhausted.  Actually surprised I’m posting I am so beat.

The wildest thing, I wrote a bunch here originally last Sunday, and now it’s poof! as I check in for another post.  Interesting.  Any suggestions as to why, my dear reader?

Catching up…

1 comment June 19th, 2007

Incredible how time flies.  I do regret not posting for the last few weeks, but geez has life ever been busy!  Obviously I’m not one who lives by internet solely, but that doesn’t mean I can get away with not posting at least something every week.

I apologize.

What’s been up?  Tripped to Wichita to spend time with my Pops and Step-Mum, have been traveling for work lots (farmington, Taos, Red River, Angel Fire, etc).  Just got back from a weekend camping trip with our SS class from Church.  Off to S. New Mexico and Elpasout next week.  Just busy!  Asher is growing so fast!  At 41k miles in Vanna, Riding my bike (one or the other) as often as I can, and spending more time (consistently) in the Word and In prayer than ever before… Feeling really blessed.  Shooting photos/assemblage-ing a PPT show for VBS this week at our Church. Soon major changes may occur for me with X, and at the same time I’m more praying for Contentment and assuming a Gratitude Attitude (GA) for the blessings already received.  I’ll explain X eventual if God wants it to be reality.  We’ll see, pray for His Will to be done regardless.
Date night weekly soon to be a reality.  Hopefully that can work out and Jess and I can “shore up” our marriage as all marriages need from time to time.

Anyhoot, there ‘tiz in a nutshell.  Will get in a photo-post groove soon to share all the images recorded from recent adventures aforementioned.

Back again, after a longer than usual break…

Hello Dear one,

I’ve been fairly busy lately, and as before took a break from posting. I apologize to those who may have been checking often to see anything new, and found nothing of the sort. Next time I’m busy I’ll post a note just to warn of such absence “prophetically”.

reasons not excuses…

I hate it when you have a honest REASON for something, but all you ever get told is that you’re making EXCUSES.  Here’s the reason you haven’t read a post until now: My laptop is with my employer’s IT department getting some tweaks/upgrades.  Other than that I’ve been way busy from sun-up to “My-time” with my Asherkins.  I’m watching him right now as the wife is getting some chores done away from home (without him, a nice break for her).  He’s been a wee-bit fussy, but right now he’s in the office with me trying to eat a mousepad as I type.

Next Wed. I board a flight to tall-a-ha-ss-ee to attend the annual sales meeting.  Not really looking forward to it, and it’s not why you think.  I’d rather be able to go and do the meeting, get the training/coaching, then fly directly back.  Instead we’ll have some “team-building” stuff and a bunch of fancy dinners and parties that I have to go to.  The funny thing is the “team-building” part.  The “team” I work with is the customer-service folks in San Diego and my direct boss Pete via the phone.  But will I see any of the fabulous people from the customer-service department in Florida?  My actual “team-mates”?  Yeah right.  Instead it’ll be with people I only see maybe 2 times a year, and never have any contact with otherwise.  Whatever…

New link, new perspective…

Hello once again, and whew! is it really Friday already? I guess so as I’m being asked “what are your plans for tomorrow?” and I automatically reply with “Work” before I figure something is not right about that answer because the question would be asked if that was the assumed answer.
Anyway, I found a new link to add to my growing blogroll, and it’s HERE for you to click. I didn’t add it to my links simply to point others to some random individual who posts about his training program/progress (because that’s what you’ll find lately in his post-history), but rather because of the really-cool PRQ’s he’s posted with top-pros in the Mountain Bike realm of cycling. If you have the interest it’s…interesting.

The new perspective I’ve discovered recently has to do with my attitude about my work/career/etc woes. If you’re so interested in THIS subject, check the comments from my post HERE. I’d rather not try and re-write my ramblings all over again, thanks for understanding.

God Bless!

Travelling blues…

3 comments November 9th, 2006

A funk of work-related malaise has crept into my life recently. It’s alot about something I’m kinda getting tired of, travel. I love my job, don’t get me wrong, but the time spent away from the family is getting to be a bit of a challenge, causing me to question all sorts of things I’ve not considered in this light before. Since Monday morning I’ve been in El Paso, Las Cruces, Deming, Silver City, Nutt, Hatch, T or C, and then finally back last night around 7pm.

Whiz-bang that was a short week…

So I’m a dork, that information isn’t new to me or not a widely known fact among readers of this blog (You know who you are!)  Anyway, I”ve been completely busy the last week with work-relatated busy-ness and am bummed to not be sharing any “insight” with you via posting.  I’m still here, still striving to keep swimming while the water continues to rise, and am not about to choke-down a galloon or two and stop posting or give this  effort up.  Some weeks are harder than others, and God has continued to move amongst us regardless of what I can take notice of and share with you.

Geez!

As if you were not already familiar with it, TIME FLIES when you’re busy!  I’ve been to Durango/Farmington, El Paso, Roswell, Las Cruces, Silver City, and Deming, (not to mention the far corners of the Albq. area) and involved in almost too-many committees and activities, all since my last post.  THIS month has flown!  I didn’t even get a visit to the state fair! (and seeing the rodeo on dollar-day by itself doesn’t count!)  Next weekend the Balloons get here and the fiestada begins, glad at least that’s an early morning thing, and with Asher in the house I’m up early all the time so it’s going to mesh into the do-da just fine.  I know I’ve said it before, but now I’m really, really meaning it: I’m going to post more often.  At least 2-times a week is my goal, and I’m going to do it.  There is just too-much stuff God is doing in my life, and whispering/roaring into my ears that to not post it here would be awful.

Around the world, and off again…

Geez, I didn’t set-up this blog, purchase a domain, and ask kindly of my peep Azinicus for a wee-bit of space on his pluto-sized server to not post very often.  I’m bummed too, because I really enjoyed when I could share what God had put on my heart or what has been going down in my small sphere of experiences.  On the road last week up to the beautiful country, Durango, with wife and child, previous trip to Las Cruces/El Pasout, and recent pics of my lovely Asherman just aren’t getting up, nor are the “deep-thoughts” of the vertical-relationship getting “air-time”.  SO having said all that, I’ll figure out (hopefully soon) to integrate blog-time into my day’s adventure, as it’d be a fitting end-stroke to the web-work I need to stay atop for my employer.  Love to you my dear reader, and thank you for your patience and grace as I dial all this random-ness in.  (and eventually the blog will be shiny and vamped with all sorts of cool plug-ins!)
