Here’s the pictures…
Mike D close beside and Mike C far, this was taken on our investigatory ride when the rain paused for a while on Friday afternoon.
As you can see, it was wet and mudville in places…
This is a section of the Fins and Things trail we did on super-wet Saturday
We didn’t do the whole porcupine rim trail due to some of the crew being not experienced enough. Besides the trek back into Moab at the end would have been beyond ability for most of us after the super-long descent. This is down the initial climb we did to the view-spot at the top of the trail: beyond there it’s all down as aforementioned.
One last pic here, from our 1/2 way point where we lunched before down the up portion. It seemed to take over 2 hours to get up to here, and felt like 10 minutes for me to get back down. 2.5 miles, 900 feet. Awesome!

So, I’ve finally gotten around to pasting up some pictures from recent events I’ve experienced first hand. It’s hard being a super-proud dad with the cuteness I’ve been blessed with so you can’t blame me for having a number of Asher pictures here too. Here’s my drummer boy to start:
A little shaky with the shot, but still beautiful from the one-of-two good days at this years balloon fiesta:
Construction day on the patio:

One happy Asher:
My favorite from this year’s fiesta:
Another few of the Patio-cover:

The Face-off:

This one’s from a hike-up La Luz, sometime mid-August:

I tink that’s enough page-space for now… next time I’ll be more with-it and post a picture within the post it refers to, ‘ight?

Christmas Eve is a special time. In my household it’s a tradition to do Luminarias down at my Father-in-law’s place in Peralta, NM. Due to my magnificent lazy-factor at this time/moment, I’m not going to post my own photo gallery here but link you to this one. Matt is a chum o’ mine that has been excellent photography the last few years, and has joined us the last few as well with our Christmas Eve tradition helping with the “duty” that comes with it. Enjoy!
